A Season of Shift and Stillness

As I’m writing this, my son is napping on me, every attempt at laying him in his crib has failed, he ends up back in my arms within minutes. With all the stuff I have to do these moments are a gentle reminder that everything else can wait while I’m soaking in every minute of his nap. I managed to sneak in a few chapters of the book I’m reading, which feels like a small win these days. Between motherhood, running my business, and everyday life, finding time to read feels like getting a little piece of myself back.

This season has felt like a big shift for me, not just as a mom, but as a business owner too. I recently started meeting with a business mentor who’s been teaching me so much and helping me see my goals a little clearer. I started working with an amazing Graphic Designer who was able to provide a beautiful refresh of my brand, I’ve fallen completely in love with our new logo. It finally feels like my business truly looks the way it feels: cozy, warm, and full of intention.

In the middle of all the business and life chaos, we decorated our Christmas tree, it's a family tradition to have it up before Thanksgiving. Decorating the house feels extra special this year since it’s our son’s first Christmas, so far he is enjoys the twinkling lights as he drifts off to sleep in my arms. Our dogs are obsessed with the tree too. They’re convinced the ornaments are toys and love sitting at the base watching the little train go around. It’s pure chaos sometimes, but it’s our cozy kind of chaos and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Right now, I’m just here, in this moment — holding my whole world in my arms.
